Terms of Service
By using services provided by Whoxy.com ("We"), you ("The Customer") agree to following terms and conditions:
- You must be 13 years or older to use our services. Also one person or legal entity may NOT maintain more than one account.
- Account creation must be done by a human. Accounts registered by "bots" or other automated methods will be permanently banned.
- You must provide your legal full name, a valid email address, and any other information requested in order to complete the signup process.
- You may NOT share your login details with anyone. Accounts logged by multiple people will be banned. We follow one user per account policy.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. We will NOT be liable for any loss from your failure to comply with this.
- You may NOT use our services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must NOT violate any laws in your jurisdiction, including copyright infringement.
- You use of our services at your sole risk. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Technical support is available only by email and in English.
Whoxy.com API Services
- You may NOT use our API for abusive purposes, nor to abuse computer resources accessible through any network or the Internet.
- You may NOT attempt to gain unauthorized access to our API and any connected computer systems, through hacking or any other means.
- WHOIS data obtained through our API may be the intellectual property of the source. You must use it in compliance with restrictions set by the source.
- You may NOT use the WHOIS contact information obtained through our API for any usage that violates any applicable law.
- You may NOT resell our services, in whole or in part. This does not prevent you from making the content available to your end users.
- API service outages can occur due to unexpected reasons and we will NOT be responsible for any loss as a result of service outages.
- Response time of our API can be as low as 1 sec or much longer due to server load. A typical response time should be about 2 to 3 seconds.
- Data returned by our API gets parsed by our intelligent parser which is constantly improving. Given the free form nature of WHOIS, parsing errors can occur.
API Usage Limits
A maximum of 1000 requests per Minute is allowed to all our API services.
If you exceed this limit, your access to the API will be blocked for a total of one minute.
You may use Bulk Whois Lookup service to quickly fetch WHOIS of large number of domain names.

You agree to following terms and conditions to purchase the above databases:
- Delivery of the database files should take anywhere from 24 hours to 3 Business days, depending on the size of the ordered database.
- NO REDISTRIBUTION: You may NOT redistribute our data to other parties. Users found doing this will be permanently banned without refunds.
- NO SHARING: You may NOT share your login details with anyone. Accounts logged by multiple people will be permanently banned without notice.
- NO RESALE: All data we provide are non-redistributable. You may not redistribute or resell any of the data purchased form us to other parties.
- NO REFUNDS: All products are sold "as is". You assume the responsibility for the purchase, and no refunds will be issued once the files are delivered.
Whois Database of Newly Registered Domains
- We store daily database for the past 30 days in our server. Files older than 30 days are automatically deleted from the server, and CANNOT be recovered.
Whois Database of Recently Deleted Domains
- We store daily database for the past 30 days in our server. Files older than 30 days are automatically deleted from the server, and CANNOT be recovered.
Whois Database of Expiring Domain Names
- We store daily database for future 30 days in our server. Files older than current date are automatically deleted from the server, and CANNOT be recovered.
Complete Whois Database - Daily/Weekly/Monthly Updates
- We store database updates for the past 3 months in our server. Files older than 3 months are automatically deleted from the server, and CANNOT be recovered.
Billing, Payment and Refunds
- All our services are billed in advance and are non-refundable. Kindly avoid credit requests, as no service in advance can be provided.
- API queries are purchased in advance. We will NOT issue refunds for unused queries at any times. Your account balance will never expire.
- We reserve the right to increase or decrease the price of any of our services without prior notice. Any change in pricing will be reflect on our web site.
- Our fees are exclusive of any taxes imposed by the taxing authorities. You shall be responsible for payment of any required taxes, levies or duties.
- We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, any of our service (or part thereof) with or without notice.
Cancellation and Termination
- You can cancel your account at any time by contacting us by email and providing the required credentials in order to validate your request.
- All of your content will be immediately deleted from our system upon cancellation. This cannot be recovered once your account is cancelled.
- We have the right to suspend or terminate your account for any reason at any time. Such termination will result in deactivation of your account.
- Verbal, physical, written or any other abuse (including threats) to our customer or employee will result in immediate termination of your account.
- If your bandwidth significantly exceeds the average bandwidth usage of other customers, we reserve the right to immediately disable your account.
Changes to Terms of Service
- We reserve the right to update and change our Terms of Service from time to time without notice.
- Any new features that augment or enhance the current service, shall be subject to our Terms of Service.
